Virtual Focus Group - Friday, September 27, 2024 from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION.

Participants will hear presentations of various factual scenarios and share their reactions and opinions. This focus group can affect real people in real cases.  If you are chosen to participate, you will receive an invitation email at least 3 days before to the scheduled event.

You MUST have a computer with webcam or a tablet with good internet access. (We may present content during the focus group that will be too small to read on a smartphone screen, so no smartphones.) Please plan to participate from a location that has good lighting and does not have a window behind you. If you can't take a good selfie without a flash in a location, it's not a good location for a video conference.

By applying, you agree:

• To connect 15 minutes before the focus group starts. If you do not connect at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time, you may not be allowed to participate.
• That you are registered to vote in the USA.
• That you will provide a state issued ID.
• To receive payment by PayPal. 
• That, if you are selected, you will participate actively the entire 4-hour focus group. Failure to actively participate is grounds for removal.
• That you will not be paid if you do not participate in the focus group for the entire 4-hour period. This means that if your internet drops and you can't reconnect, you don't get paid.
• That you cannot participate via smartphone--you must have a computer/webcam or a tablet.
• That you may be removed from the focus group if your connection quality (audio or video) is not acceptable to the host at any time before or during the focus group.
• To sit at a desk or a table during the entire focus group. Lying down is not acceptable, and you may be removed. 
• That you will not be paid if you are removed or do not complete the entire 4-hour focus group for any reason.
